Mission Statement

Empower the women of MX through professional development, mentorship, and community, with the ultimate goals of career advancement and an increase in female empowerment and leadership.

Purpose

The MX Women’s Initiatives Network (WIN) is intended to facilitate interaction and organize activities that support an inclusive culture and the sustained conversation on the subject of women, education and leadership. The unique purpose of this group is to provide information, resources, and community for all MXers interested in participating. The WIN’s vision is to be the primary resource for learning, communication, and collaboration to further promote women’s success in the MX organization.

Membership

All MXers, regardless of gender identity, are encouraged to join as a volunteer participant of the Women’s Initiatives Network. We welcome and champion diversity and inclusion for all. The WIN group will consist of MXers and will be spearheaded by an appointed committee, led by a Chairperson and two Co-Chairs. The leadership committee will be evaluated quarterly to ensure proper support. The leadership committee is assigned on a volunteer basis.

In summary:

  • All membership and leadership is voluntary.
  • Leadership committee consists of a Chairperson, two Co-Chairs, and appointments for Community Outreach, Events, Learning & Development, Communication, and Recruiting & Retention.
  • Leadership is evaluated and appointed quarterly. The appointment may come from voting by the membership or selection by the leadership committee.
