Pack for the Mountains of Utah

The dress code for this event is business casual (heavy on the casual). In July, daytime temperatures are typically between 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit, cooling into the low to mid 50's in the evening. Please plan accordingly with light layers and practical footwear for walking short distances outside.

Sundance Resort's Bell Services are available to drive you to and from locations around the campus, if you'd prefer not to walk. Please allow 10 minutes for them to arrive after placing your call for assistance.

Here are a few additional things our team recommends packing, based on your selected activities:

For Horseback Riding on the Stewart Falls Trail

  • Lightweight long pants, with light, comfortable layers
  • Hat and sunglasses
  • Sunscreen (the sun is more direct at higher elevations)
  • Weight Restriction: Under 230 lbs

Plan Your Ground Transportation

Uber or Lyft drivers are a great option from the airport, however it is historically difficult to book a car in real-time from Sundance to the airport. To avoid delays in leaving to catch a flight, we recommend reserving your car in advance on the Uber or Lyft apps.
Or, you can reserve car service through Snow Country Limo by visiting this link to review their options, or texting MX to 435-222-3015.

If you are comfortable driving and would like to rent a car, please note that parking is free to Sundance Resort guests, and the Bell Staff is happy to direct you to the nearest parking to your guest room after check-in.

Stay Hydrated

Utah is known for its dry climate and the higher altitude of mountain areas, so it's important to stay hydrated to avoid potential negative side effects. We will provide a refillable, aluminum Sundance water bottle with your registration materials, as well as water stations in the meeting rooms.

Utah Liquor Law Requirements

Note that the state of Utah requires all guests to present a valid government-issued ID if purchasing or requesting alcoholic beverages, regardless of age or appearance. Please be sure to bring a photo ID with you to dinner each evening if you plan to partake in any alcoholic beverages.
