Growth starts with Account Aggregationin deposits, loans, cards and wellness

Most FIs see only the accounts they hold. MX connects, cleanses, and categorizes the rest so your systems can read it the same day it lands.

The data foundation that drives growth

Broad coverage, connections that hold, and enhanced data your team acts on. Each capability, with the proof it earned.

Connect the accounts your consumers actually use

One integration reaches deposit accounts, cards, loans, and held-away balances across banks, credit unions, and fintechs. The result is every account your consumers hold, in one view.

Connections that hold when it matters

Token-based, OAuth-first connections and modern methods keep data flowing, so a verification or a balance check does not fail at the moment a consumer needs it. Reliability is the difference between a demo and a deployment.

When fraud looks like trust

When fraud wears the face of trust, consumers lose. Seeing what flows through the pipe is how you stop it.

Account aggregation, answered

What people ask before they connect an account, and what your team asks before you buy.

To aggregate accounts means to bring every account a person holds, at your institution and everywhere else, into one connected view. The consumer gives permission for each connection. Balances and transactions then come back in one place, updated automatically. Account aggregation is the name for that connection layer. To the consumer it looks like one screen. A financial institution sees the whole picture for the first time, rather than the slice held in house.

Account aggregators, like MX, access financial data with the consumer's permission, through a connection the institution can see and control. The modern method is a token-based OAuth connection: the consumer approves it at their own bank, the bank issues a token instead of a password, and the consumer can revoke access at any time. Older methods require handing over a username and password, which is less secure and breaks more often. MX connects across banks, credit unions, and fintechs, and uses token-based connections wherever they exist.

It shows you what you could not see before. Once the accounts outside your walls are connected, you see who just moved a paycheck, who is carrying a balance somewhere else, and who is ready to borrow. That turns into things you act on: more direct deposit switches, better loan decisions, and a net worth view that gives consumers a reason to come back. Central Pacific Bank saw 37x more direct deposit switches in six months after embedding MX-powered switching in its mobile app.

Aggregation is the start of intelligence, not the end of a data pull. Raw transaction data arrives messy: cryptic merchant strings, no categories, duplicates. MX cleanses, categorizes, and enhances every transaction on the way through. Financial data aggregation done this way produces data your analytics and your campaigns use the day it lands, rather than a feed your team has to clean first. That is the difference between a connection and something you act on.
