The list of Top Workplaces was determined and ranked solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics). Each company was measured in response to 24 questions on subject matters such as connection, alignment, effectiveness, leadership and management, as well as basics such as pay, benefits and flexibility.

“This 8-year-old Lehi company is on a mission to help individuals, families and communities become financially stronger through technology,” wrote Kathy Stephenson in her Salt Lake Tribune feature about MX. “It’s a big job, but it’s one that employees embrace. ‘I like doing something that I feel makes a difference in the lives of our customers and end users,’ one said, ‘and I appreciate that my colleagues feel the same way.’” (Read the full Salt Lake Tribune article here.)

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

“We’re proud of the unique culture we’ve been building at MX since 2010 and appreciate this honor by The Salt Lake Tribune as another testament to our mission – helping the world become financially strong,” said Ryan Caldwell, founder and CEO of MX. “We have nearly 200 employees who are, one by one, doing their part to enable financial institutions help their customers change lives for the better.'
